Owen Hart ushered in the "New Generation" by becoming the "King of Harts" at the King of the Ring PPV in 1994
WWF fought back against WCW signing Hulk Hogan by ushering in the "New Generation". The old was slow, outdated, black and white - the new was fast, exciting and in colour. The main event? Jerry Lawler vs Roddy Piper.
King of the Ring did have it's highlights - Bret Hart coaxed an excellent WWF Title match out of Diesel and Owen Hart and 123 Kid wrestled perhaps the best four minute match you will ever see - even if psychology was kind of left backstage.
In WCW it's Clash of the Champion XXVII - Hulk Hogan's live debut for the company. We also see Ric Flair and Sting unify the WCW World and International Heavyweight Titles.
