Shane Douglas tells the World, and a litany of previous NWA World Title holders to "kiss my ass" as he throws down the title.
We start the month by looking at a very significant few weeks for ECW - now "Extreme" Championship Wrestling. Shane Douglas won the NWA TItle Tournament before throwing down the title and proclaiming himself the "ECW Heavyweight Champion of the World". We also review the "Singapore Cane" match between The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer, where the loser must take ten strikes of the cane.
In the WWF it's Summerslam 1994 and it's The Undertaker vs The Undertaker in the main event! Bret Hart faces his brother Owen in a WWF Title cage match with the entire family at ringside, and Tatanka faces Lex Luger admist rumours that Luger has "sold out" and joined the Million Dollar Stable.
In WCW it's onto the Clash of the Champions XXVIII, and record breaking one at that, with the rematch between Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.
